Board Meeting Agenda May 11, 2006 PRESENTATIONS: 1. Report of the Secretary----Kathie Hockenbury 2. Report of the Treasurer----Randy Humphrey 3. Report of Scholarships-----Ed Ridolph UPDATES ON OLD BUSINESS: 1. On April 16, Lester Garmier went over to the new sign on Ohio and cleared out all the grass and trash around it. On April 28, Angela Yow did a lot of landscaping around the sign. Special thanks to Lester and Angela. We appreciate you very much. It looks beautiful. We do need to check with the fellow who lives next door about watering it with his water hose.
2. The person who was going to help Dean Craven with the Website Is not going to do so. Dean will take over the Website and keep it as the Association and Board members want it. There will be no free advertising on the Website as it would not be fair to the persons who pay for their advertisements and do not live in Florida Gardens. The news letters are posted on the internet so therefore all ads are on the Website.
3. All trees and bushes have been trimmed on Clubhouse grounds and the two palm bushes in the front will be trimmed by the lawn maintenance person as needed. 4. Gary Oliwa finished fixing all verticals and reinforced the storeroom door. 5. Everyone was agreeable to presenting the Maiales the gift certificates. NEW BUSINESS:
1. Door knobs on women and men's restrooms need to be replaced. 2. Floater needs to be replaced in tank in men's bathroom. 3. Back door knob needs to be replaced and re-keyed. 4. Kitchen cabinet doors need to be fixed. 5. Street Representatives need to be at the meetings to keep up with what is happening on their streets, as far as dues, crime watch, etc.
