UPDATES ON
OLD BUSINESS:
1. We have
raised the deposit on the rentals to $150.00 and
the rental will be $200.00 for dues paying residents and
$400.00 for non-residents.
2.
Dave Stanley has set the Golf Tournament date
for November 8, at the Golf Course at Lucerne Lakes.
3.
The bus stop hopefully has been moved.
On Monday morning I received a telephone call that one
of the students was laying up across the top of the marquee.
I immediately called the transportation department who
said the stop was to have been moved, but we
decided evidently the bus driver was still stopping here for
the convenience of the students. I also asked Fay Ingraham
to not let the students know we had requested the move in
fear of retaliation. She assured me they do not do that.
When I came out of the neighborhood on this same day,
I also noticed the bottom part of the rain gutter was shoved
in one of the spaces on the marquee between the column at
the right end. Matt took it, but said he would put it back
and get a picture for me. I feel at this point we have to have
the premises posted by the Sheriff’s department and if we
see any kids messing around the building or the marque,
we call the Sheriffs Department on them. Matt did call
the Sheriff for me Monday and filed a report. We are going
to also have to work towards putting up security cameras
or something to protect us from the students.
It is bus #148 and the students go to Woodlands Middle.
4.
What do we do about the Marquee????
NEW BUSINESS:
1.
Jamie Illicete, code enforcement called me to tell me someone
is calling her, leaving messages complaining about 116 North Ohio,
but not leaving a name or telephone number. She said when she came
out by there, they had mowed their lawn and everything looked good
to her. The black top is cracked but no holes, so she cannot tell
them to replace the black top. If you are making a complaint to
her, she would at least like to have a name and telephone number to
contact you.
2. Can we decide on a date for the BBQ yet? To be successful we
do need to
start early. Will Ed Ridolph be the Chairman again this
year?
