Meeting began at 8:02 p.m.
The following officers were present: Sue Guthrie
(President), Kathie Hockenbury (Secretary). Ed Ridolph;
Vice President. 26 residents attended the meeting.
Pete Peterson attended the meeting and was presented an
award and tickets to the annual BBQ for his dedication
to Florida Gardens throughout the years.
Minutes of the previous meeting, March 9, 2006 were read
and accepted; Lester Gramier 1st, Joe
Bourgius 2nd.
Treasurer’s Report:
A
review of the Treasurer’s report was presented by Sue
Guthrie. Discussion of the use vs. cost of the
refrigerator and freezer. They were both recently
replaced.
The recently purchased freezer needed to be replaced and
was upgraded to a standard size upright, GE for
additional cost of $80.94. It was discussed that these
items will help with getting rentals knowing that they
are available for use. Motion to accept: Sarah Ridolph 1st,
Barbara Olsen 2nd.
Old & New Business:
Gutters were replaced on 3/27, total cost $440.00..
Pete Maiale completed the entrance sign on Ohio with
Est. 1953. Sue recognized Pete and Lauren (not present)
and she will be presenting them with Gift cards for Buca
de beppo and Red Lobster. Motion to accept: Pete Spatara
1st, Kim Kahant.
The Website Committee will be Randy Humphrey, Sue
Guthrie and Jack Doyle. Dean Craven will be the Web
Master and Alice Bertelson will be his partner.
Gary Oliwa completed the storeroom partition. The
storeroom door will need to be reinforced.
The Presidential plaques were updated by Ed Ridolph.
The tree was trimmed at the south end of the driveway,
the cost was $35.00.
Landscaping and clean up near the entrance sign needs to
be done. Angela will try to do before the BBQ.
Esther and Bryon Harden donated the new signs that were
posted at the front of the clubhouse.
