Meeting
began at 8:00 p.m.
The
following officers were present: Sue Guthrie
(President), Ed Ridolph (Vice- President), and Kim
Kahant (Secretary), and 4 members of the community
attended.
Minutes from Previous Meeting:
Minutes
of the previous meeting 3/12/09 were read and accepted.
Tony Basso 1st and John Sjoholm 2nd.
Treasurer’s Report:
Randy
Humphrey dropped off copies of the treasurer’s report to
all members present and the report was reviewed by all
present. We have had at least $1500.00 come in this
month.
Motion to
accept: Sandra Dale 1st, and Sara Ridolph 2nd.
Scholarship: Ed
Ridolph reports that we have two new applicants for the
scholarship, Cody Statler & Ms. Vargo. At this point
Cody is qualified, but we have to check some more
information to make sure that Ms. Vargo is qualified.
It will remain open until April 15th.
Old &
New Business:
Sue
Guthrie thanked everyone for their support of her trip
to Beijing. She is sorry that she missed the meeting,
but had a wonderful time with her family.
There was
more discussion about having a new floor put in the
clubhouse. Possibly get commercial porcelain tile or
stained poured concrete. We need to get some price
quotes. Due to the fact that we realize this will be a
costly investment we may have to save up for this
project.
More
discussion was made about this years neighborhood garage
sale. We are sorry that it did not get put on the
marquee. It was discussed to have it always be on the
first Saturday in March, which will be March 6, 2010 for
next year, so that everyone will always know when it
will be.
Thank you
to Kim Kahant for volunteering to take on the Easter egg
hunt for this year. The Easter egg hunt will be on April
11th at 11:00 a.m. Two new members of the
community, Kathy Somoza & Heather Zapf, have offered to
help. Kim Kahant will make sure that everything is
taken care of.
There was
discussion made about having the bathrooms updated. We
hope that this will not be a costly project. A list was
made of what needs to be done. Sue Guthrie will ask
Gary Oliwa for a price on the changes.
Ryan
Vaides will be taking over the editor’s position on the
newsletter. If you need to contact him for anything
pertaining to the newsletter, you can reach him at

324-0316. You can also contact Sue Guthrie and she will
relay any messages to him.
It was
discussed to put the phone number for clubhouse rentals
on the marquee as well as Sue Guthrie’s number for
anyone wanting to rent the clubhouse. Sue will be
helping Matt Lacharite out for the time being.
The next
homeowners meeting will be Thursday, May 14, 2009 at
8:00 p.m.
