Minutes of the
Meetings
February

Meeting
began at 8:15pm
The following officers were
present:
Sue Guthrie (President), Randy Humphrey
(Treasurer), Kathie Hockenbury (Secretary), Ed Ridolph
(Vice President). 18 residents attended the
meeting.
Minutes of the previous meeting, Jan 12,
2006 were read and accepted; Sandy Mann 1st, Dave
Stanley 2nd.
Treasurer's
Report:
A review of
the Treasurer's report was presented by Randy Humphrey.
Motion to accept the report; Patricia Burke 1st,
Dave Stanley 2nd.
The locks
were changed on the Clubhouse. Keys will be issued
and signed for by Jack Doyle.
The new
refrigerator was delivered on 01/17/06.
It was
discussed getting a freezer at the last BBQ meeting. The
new freezer was delivered on 02/08/06.
John
Cipolla rented a jackhammer from Home Depot and broke up
the cement of the old flag pole left in front of
the Clubhouse. Sue Guthrie and her husband helped
with the clean up.
Jack Doyle has been in charge
of the painters inside and out of the Clubhouse, they
also painted the block wall at the entrance to
Ohio.
We have one estimate for $440 for the
gutters for the Clubhouse.
Request to allocate
$500 to Pete Maille to start the Florida Gardens sign at
the entrance of Ohio. Motion to accept Jack Doyle
1st, Lisa Davies 2nd.
We now have a Florida
Gardens website, created by Dean Craven (www.floridagardens.org)
The cost is $130.00 a year for the website. Dean
will maintain at no charge. Advertisements can now
be done online.
Motion to accept the fee,
Sarah Ridolph 1st, Sandy Mann 2nd.
Open
discussion regarding the items acceptable for the
website, such as street reps, resident listings,
archived newsletters, calendar of events.
Open
discussion from George from Akron regarding the recent
survey being done on the properties along Akron.
He was told it was for installing sidewalks. Dave
indicated it is for a preliminary study for
sewerage.
A letter was read by Sue from the Plank
Family thanking the Clubhouse for the Christmas with
Santa and the luminaries.
An unsigned letter was
sent to the Clubhouse regarding the Holiday Awards, the
letter was not read due to being
unsigned/unknown.
Motion to adjourn the meeting,
